Our property on Wellington S. is a long lot on a very busy major road which feeds a large amount of traffic from the outlying areas south and east of Sherbrooke into the downtown area. Our business, which is a garden center, is very well established and has a clientele from all over the area and has existed on this lot for 30 years. If you love flowers and horticulture in general and like working with a clientele which is very warm and respectful for 6 months out of the year this might be the right opportunity for you. Two other major independent garden centers in the Sherbrooke area have closed in the last two years which will inevitably bring more customers to Les Serres Neville. If you are interested in making your living in this manner come to see us and we will be glad to go over the ins and outs of this business.
However we are very interested in retiring and although we hate to see this service to the community disappear we are just as open to offers which will repurpose the lot. One of the very excellent features of the lot is the very extensive road frontage. (475' of filled and usable property. There is a 25 year old building with a very usable full basement. Presently the lot is zoned for C2, C3, C11 and also particularly garden center. If what you want to do with the lot does not fit into those zoning usages I have been informed by the Town that rezoning is not a big problem since there are so few people living in the area but it would take about 6 months.
