Built on a hilltop; the cottage is surrounded by an assortment of trees and shrubs which ensure its privacy, charm in a peaceful environment.

The building gives an open space feeling. Kitchen, dining and living room, walled by two big windows allows an immediate visual access to the lake. The afternoon sun lets you bask in its rays; filling the place with golden light.

It has two bedrooms and a washroom on the back side of the building, putting them in the shaded side which keeps them cooler on those warm summer nights.

Off the entrance doorway, is a long deck and an 8' x 8' (2.5 m2) suspended terrace for that morning coffee.

Bellow, joined by a 4' (1.2 m) wide x 12' (3.6 m) long staircase, is another 16' x 16' ( almost 5 m2) suspended deck to ensure a peaceful reading area where unencumbered and private sunbathing afternoon could take place. 

From there, a small staircase lands off to the slope leading down to the fire pit surrounded by rustic chairs and further flat grounds and shores.

The cabin faces one end of the lake, giving a 25 km (approx), breath taking view on a few of the dozens of islands and many mountains this magnificent water body provides. 

The cabin comes complete with all the furniture, barely used appliances, small electrics (microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, 5 gallons (20 lt) hot and cold water dispenser), dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. In extras are : two mountain bikes for trail ridding and a canoe complete with paddles and safety vests, for those long hours of exploration on this huge lake.

Ten (10) minute drive from the Notre-Dame-du-Laus village where all services are offered; (restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, library, school, church and repair shops etc...) At a few minutes walk, the Poisson Blanc Regional Park offers a realm of aquatic and pedestrian outdoor activities. one and one half hour (1.5hr) from Gatineau or one hour (1hr) from Mont-Laurier.

This cottage is on a treed ¾ acre lot. Lake fed by a pump for the shower and tap water. It has an ecological compost toilet (no chemicals). 

A wood stove warms the cottage up in 15 minutes making it possible to extend this 2 to a 3 seasons cottage.
