In winter, the Complex retains the services of Urbania shuttles to allow skiers to travel and return from the Bromont mountain easily (this is included at condo fees). It is possible that this service will be provided during other seasons to and from Bromont (to be confirmed by the condo union).

The unit includes a natural gas fireplace in the living room, an air exchanger system, and an air conditioning system.

The unit has served in recent years for short-term rentals. It is very clean and really well appreciated by guests, because well equipped and decorated to please the majority of people. The condos at Complex Champlain can be rented very easily, as there is little competition in the region for this type of accommodation with this level of excellence.

Our recommendation for the purchaser who will acquire it is to first create a numbered company (Québec Inc.). Which is easy to do and inexpensive. To have GST, QST, and accommodation tax numbers created at the same time for this company. Then proceed to the purchase of the condo via this company (although you will have to be guarantor for the mortgage of course, even if it is associated with the company). This avoids paying GST/QST taxes upon purchase, in exchange you must charge all taxes to customers who rent the condo (gst, qst and accommodation tax), and remit them to Revenu Québec. This method also has the advantage of facilitating the management of the expenses (and revenues) associated with the condo. This also separates the tax implications of the condo that will have its own tax report. It must be said that at present there is an important file in the hands of the condo union concerning the retaining wall that is located between the complex grounds and the neighbor in the back (pool side).
