The administration of Viauville is managing responsibly the special funds. There is a long-term maintenance plan and funds planned the administration is following. Documents will be provided (in French only). Detailed inspection was done in December 2019, the final report is also available in French only.
Heating is included in the monthly fee, there are hot water radiators in every room of the unit, New York style. You'll never be cold again during winter! Also, the monthly unit fees include:

Recent renovations: waterproofing and solidifying foundations all around the building in 2020. Lithium smoke detectors installed in all units, good until 2030. Front lawn leveled and added grass in June 2021 and the back lawn will be done this August. Main water entry of the building installed anew in 2021.
Works scheduled: Fall 2021 redesign project for the common halls and furnace thermostat. Spring 2022: masonry on the main facade of 576 building and north-facing alley. 2023-2024: new mortar on the 570 building for brick walls and new front doors stairs.
Serious buyers: proof of pre-qualification for a mortgage is mandatory to schedule a visit.
