Nice family home located on one of the main arteries of the upper town of Quebec. Halfway between downtown Quebec City and downtown Sainte-Foy. Four bedrooms on the top floor, and most of the basement is finished and can serve, for example, as a playroom for children. This basement was refurbished in the 2000s.
The plot is deep to the rear and there is private parking at the front.
The house will need painting work in some places. The floor of the living/dining room and the floor of the kitchen need maintenance. The windows are functional, but may need to be replaced in the short to medium term. The bathroom was renovated in January 2019.
There is a large shed in the back allowing to store several things and the basement is equipped with a cold room that we enjoyed a lot.

The plot lends itself to a modern style reconstruction, but the house is well built and has been a pleasant living environment. But it has become too big for our needs, now that all of our children are gone.

Agréable maison familiale située sur une des artères principales de la haute-ville de Québec. À mi-chemin entre le centre-ville de Québec et le centre-ville de Sainte-Foy. Quatre chambres à coucher à l'étage du dessus, et la majeure partie du sous-sol est finie et peut servir, par exemple, de salle de jeux pour les enfants. Ce sous-sol a été réaménagé dans les années 2000.
Le terrain est profond vers l'arrière et il y a un stationnement privé à l'avant.
La maison aura besoin de travaux de peinture à certains endroits. Le plancher du salon / salle à manger et celui de la cuisine ont besoin d'entretien. Les fenêtres sont fonctionnelles, mais seront éventuellement à remplacer à court ou moyen terme. La salle de bain a été rénovée en janvier 2019.
Il y a une grande remise à l'arrière permettant de ranger plusieurs choses et le sous-sol est équipé d'une chambre froide que nous avons beaucoup appréciée.
La fournaise à l'huile a été remplacée par un système à calorifères à l'eau chauffée à l'électricité.
Le terrain se prête à une reconstruction de style moderne, mais la maison est bien construite et a été un agréable cadre de vie. Mais elle est devenue trop grande pour nos besoins, maintenant que tous nos enfants sont partis.
À proximité du cégep Garneau, de l'école Saint-Sacrement, du collège Saint-Charles-Garnier et de deux hôpitaux. L'Université Laval est à 2 km. Bien desservie par les transports en commun, et tout près du réseau cyclable de la ville de Québec.
