Owners’ comments
Great neighborhood. All the necessities within a 5 minute walk (grocery store, drug store, bus stop, convenience store, park, skating rink, tennis court...). 2 parking lots.
Neighborhood
The house is located in a very sought-after area of Quebec City. The neighborhood life is pleasant (many young families) and the area is very safe. Within less than five minutes of walk, you will find :
The public elementary school serving the area (Anne-Hébert) has an excellent reputation. It is a 13-minute walk away.
The property is also within walking distance of the Plains of Abraham (shows, cross-country skiing,... ), Bois-de-Coulonge Park, and Cartier Street (several restaurants, bars, chocolate shop, fish shop, bakery, SAQ).
Interior
The first floor was completely renovated in 2013 to be transformed into an open space. The kitchen was renovated with high-end materials (granite countertops, Kalia faucets) and space was designed to make it a pleasant place to cook and chill out with friends.
Upstairs, bedrooms 2 and 3 have balconies (one in the front and one in the back of the house). Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have two closets.
In the basement, there is a large room (room 4, irregular shape) with a large storage space.
The utility room and laundry area are in the same open area.
Exterior
The property enjoys a small front yard requiring minimal care. There is no backyard but there is some space for a shed at the back of the house.
The exterior has been improved since 2013 (paving, hedge). The woodwork and wrought iron were repainted in 2020.
There are two parking lots on the side of the house (there is room for three very small cars). Possibility to rent the parking lots. Street parking is unlimited and free on evenings and weekends (90 minutes on weekdays).
