Your health is important to us.  Covid-19 was an opportunity to upgrade our services. Ask us about the five-star cleaning and disinfection measures we have put in place. Also, to match your home working requirements, a workspace have been created in the apartment, with high bandwidth WIFI.  Classic Plateau is available long term starting on August 21st, 2021 for $1075 per month, completely furnished, all inclusive.
You will appreciate the location and functionality of this authentic Plateau Mont-Royal home, a restored classic apartment preserving the 1900 original charm. Everything is included in the rent, all services, but the phone. You arrive with your personal belongings, and everything is set, cleaned and disinfected for you.  There is a supermarket open 24/7 around the corner and everything else you might need down the block. During quarantine, all supermarkets deliver to our area. The location of this apartment is ideal, next to the dynamic Plateau Mont-Royal street ambiance, yet balanced by a multitude of large green spaces including the nearest, the renowned Lafontaine Park two blocks away.  You will find a charming home here where you can experience the Plateau Mont-Royal at its very best.
The smallest of our nine apartments, is situated on the ground floor of a classic white stone building.  Inside you will find in the front the kitchen which is functionally equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and all the pots, pans and dishes necessary. The dining table can accommodate 2 people and there is also a small additional work table for computer work.  The restored sliding doors can be closed to separate the bedroom area from the kitchen space.  The bedroom has a controllable ceiling fan.  The well-designed high-quality bed is fitted with a great quality memory foam mattress, fitted with 100% cotton sheets, dry cleaned and disinfected pillows and comforters.  The bedroom area also has a closet, and a couple of dressers, the television with cable, and a large mirror.  The bathroom is tiny, with shower, sink and toilet. The washer/dryer are shared, only with our other small apartment, located in the common hallway.
Our building is ideally located on tree-lined Marquette street, a stone throw from Mont-Royal Avenue where you will find everything you might need for daily life in walking distance: restaurants, bars, coffee shops, dance clubs, liquor store, groceries, fruit stalls, bakeries, pharmacist, 24/7 gymnasium, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bike paths, a climbing gym, and a 24/7 supermarket, are all a short walk away.  Mont-Royal avenue converts to pedestrian-traffic-only for long periods of time in the summer months. Mont-Royal Metro station is a ten minute walk; the 97 and 45 bus stops are at the corner while numerous bus lines are nearby such as the 24 or the 27; the BIXI bike rental station is at the corner; our own street is a bike path itself and the municipal bike rack is in front of the house six months out of the year. Parking on the street is very easy with the annual resident pass, which can be easily obtained for a fee; Jacques-Cartier bridge is 5-minutes away, while the Ville Marie autoroute heading downtown is double that time.
The combination of this thriving cultural and commercial center with its numerous green spaces makes this neighborhood one of the most sought after in Canada.  It features numerous spectacular parks, including the expansive Lafontaine Park, two blocks away. There you will find tennis courts, kid's playgrounds, jogging tracks thru the woods, picnic tables, baseball fields and lots of space to practice any sports, a restaurant and an outdoor theater space with a full summer long schedule of mostly free entertainment. In the winter there is a skating rink on the lake and tobogganing areas.
