This large vintage apartment occupies the entire third floor of a typical white stone house built in 1910 in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods in Montreal, the Plateau Mont-Royal. The apartment has a spectacular covered rear terrace facing the sunset, furnished with a couch, a picnic table offering the possibility of dinner for 6 outside even on a rainy day; a second front balcony, facing the sunrise, an atrium yoga room with a high ceilings and exposed brick in the refurbished shed.

The apartment is completely furnished and decorated. Inside you will find four (4) closed bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a yoga room. Three of the bedrooms have a Queen size bed, one has a single bed, all with 100% cotton sheets. Original moldings and doors have been preserved and you will find tall ceilings and red pine floors thru the apartment. The living room is large with a view on Marquette street life. Next to the kitchen, the dining room has a table for six, a traditional built-in buffet and two additional closets. The kitchen is open to the large traditional covered back terrace, giving you ample indoor and outdoor eating options, even on rainy days. You will find a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, stove, oven, micro-wave, refrigerator and is fully equipped with good cooking and eating stuff. The bathroom was recently renovated featuring a cast iron bath. Except for the phone, all services are covered in the rent including the heat, the electricity, the internet via WIFI, hot water, television with cable.

The building is ideally located on tree-lined Marquette street, a stone throw from Mont-Royal Avenue where you will find everything you might need for daily life in walking distance: restaurants, bars, coffee shops, dance clubs, liquor store, groceries, fruit stalls, bakeries, pharmacist, 24/7 gymnasium, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bike paths, a climbing gym, and a 24/7 supermarket are all 50 yards away. Mont-Royal Metro station is a ten minute walk away ; the 97 and 45 bus stops are at the corner while numerous bus lines are nearby such as the 24 or the 27; the BIXI bike rental station is at the corner; our own street is a bike path itself and the municipal bike rack is in front of the house six months out of the year. We'll store your personal bike for the winter; parking on the street is very easy with the annual resident pass; Jacques-Cartier bridge is 5-minutes away, while the Ville Marie autoroute heading downtown is double that time.
