Published on October 11, 2022
It’s that time of year again! Time for the most important new home promotion event in Quebec! Presented by DuProprio, the 2022 event, which will take place October 15–16 and October 22–23, from 1 to 5 p.m., will offer visitors a range of discovery activities in about 50 residential sales or rental offices.
Featuring a series of theme-based routes aimed at all types of shoppers, the Open House Weekends are two weekends of intensive shopping in Greater Montréal. This is the perfect event to learn about the latest real estate projects, including affordable condos, prestigious addresses, rental apartments, family townhomes, and living spaces for the 55+ crowd. It’s also a great time to take advantage of tempting offers and still relatively low interest rates!

Architecture and Design Sundays
New this year: A dozen creators (architects and designers) will be available to accompany and guide visitors in the sales offices and model units included in the Open House Weekend routes. On October 16 and 23, during the “Architecture and Design Sundays,” discover at their side and through various activities, the creative process that was involved in the city’s latest and most beautiful residential projects.
Vote for your favourite model unit and sales office!
For this 9th edition, the Prix Habitat Design will once again be highlighted during the Fall Open House Weekends. “These honours spotlight the excellence of the builders and professionals in the construction industry whose sales offices, furnished model units and overall marketing of new real estate projects, for sale or for rent, stand out for their quality in Greater Montréal, and in Quebec as a whole,” said Jacques Beaulieu, producer of the Habitat Design Prize.
Visitors will be tasked with voting for the Public Choice Awards for the 2022 Habitat Design Prizes, in the Furnished Model Unit and Sales Office categories. The Habitat Design Prizes will be awarded on November 16.
Those participating in the vote can also be entered in a draw for $2,500 in GE appliances!
