Property located at the foot of a mountain in West-Bolton in a quiet sector composed mainly of single-family bungalows or cottages. Highways, stores and elementary schools less than 10 km away. Cottage to be rebuilt or renovated entirely; plans, certificate of location and survey, available. A second building 20 x 24 ft is located a few meters from the cottage, ideal for a worskhop.
Like it is stated in the description the chalet has to be rebuild entirely. The house is unsafe due to infiltrations by rain and humidity. It has been inspected by an expert and only the structure of the house can be kept. The rest must be demolished and rebuilt.
There is two options, put it down entirely and rebuild it entirely either with a basement or without and that would imply doing a new septic tank as since it is a new house it has to follow the new rules. a recommandation for a new septic tank at low cost of installation has already been submitted to the municipality and pre-approuved.Or keep the frame of the house and rebuild it entirely. The house has been started to be stripped down from the inside, as we had plans to rebuild it but are now planning to move, therefore we have stopped all the work. The second little building on the property is clean, and newer, but has no connectivity to water or septic tank. Only electricity.
The cottage is built on cement blocks. There is no foundation or basement.
