Owners’ comments
Located in the village of Brigham in the Eastern Townships, 10 minutes from Cowansville, Farnham (groceries, services) and from Highway 10; 20 minutes from Granby and Bromont. Beautiful domaine with view of the Yamaska River. You will be enchanted by this peaceful country setting sheltered from neighbours by a cedar hedge and mature trees, surrounded by nature, with a mix of forest, field and shoreline left undisturbed for the protection of the banks and wildlife. This green space can all be seen from the house, 100 metres from the river.
The flight of Canada geese in the spring and fall, the regular visits from a family of deer, the singing of the many types of birds and from the frogs in the pond, the glow of the fireflies - these are the sights and sounds of this home. The view is relaxing throughout the year from the family room in front of the wood stove or from the patio around the pool. The main yard is fenced.
A paradise for the nature enthusiast: walking, ski and snowshoe trail across the street, direct access to the river for canoeing and kayaking. Close to many golf courses, ski hills, trails for mountain bike, fat bike, x-c skiing, hiking and snowshoeing.
