Quiet, secluded off-grid piece of paradise. This large cottage is perfect for family gatherings and special memories. It sits on the beautiful Brock Lake, just a few minutes from the Zec Pontiac (Owl Station) with it's 350 lakes for fishing and hunting enthusiasts. Great hiking trails, stunning scenery and boating possibilities.
On leased Crown land, this area will never be developed. There are 7 cottages on this lake and there will never be more.
Enjoy amazing sunsets, go fishing or swimming, canoe up to the beaver hut, or simply sit and listen to the loons. This is the place to unwind.
Large stacked cedar contruction, this cottage was built by a retired forest ranger who really understood nature. Very well insulated, large porch facing the sunsets, all was well thought-out.
This is off-grid, the cottage runs on batteries that are charged by a generator (about 1 hour per day) Solar panels and a windmill charge back-up batteries. A second generator in included as well.
Heating is provided by 2 wood stoves, 2 propane fireplaces, 2 propane heaters, 1 wood stove/oven, 1 heat-exchange split unit (A/C as well). There are propane lamps throughout if needed.
Water comes from the crystal-clear lake and a septic system takes care of the waste.
