Amazing Austrian style house situated up on a ridge with a spectacular view on the St-Laurents River. Big intimate land of 50 000 square feet surrounded by nature. No neighbours in the back and the house is located at a good distance from the main road. The land behind the property is a mature forest with ATV and snowmobile trail. Drinking water from a pure natural spring coming out on the back side of the house. Big wooden beams to support the roof can be seen on the front of the house and a lot of wood inside too, making it warm and welcoming. Full sized high windows on the facade which oriented straight south so the sun and the light comes in all day. It helps to warm up the house in the winter, and the elongated roof helps to create shadow when the sun is higher during the summer. The interior has been renovated with a rustic look. Wood stove on the ground level can help cutting the electricity bill in the winter. Antique looking bath on the first floor and proper windowed shower on the 2nd floor. No electric heating panels on the walls, the heating system is radiant , its a membrane that is placed inside the roof and the floor making it efficient and warms the floor at the same time as the ceiling. Air calculator with filters is also installed.
