Owners’ comments
In the heart of Old Quebec, a unique 1,800 square feet condo on 2 floors with attic, located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Maison Mercier - a listed historic building built under the French regime around 1730, which has undergone a complete curettage in 1984. Huge living room with stone walls and large recent Don-Bar fireplace; kitchen renovated in 2017. Two spacious bedrooms upstairs. Large attic space that can be used for storage or renovated as an additional room.
Quiet and well soundproofed building. Secured entrance to the building. Rear balcony overlooking the cliff (green during the summer). Private storage space in the basement for wood, bicycles, etc.
Located in the historical district of Old Quebec, between the magnificent Rue des Antiquaires and the charming Sous-le-Cap street in the back, the condo is very close to the Petit Champlain area and within walking distance of all attractions and activities of the old capital (bike path/ footpath by the river, marina, market, Summer Festival, etc.).
The building has no parking. Parking with vignette in the street, or several options of private parking in the surrounding - including one in front of the building. Débarcadère at the door. Excellent board.
