Cette maison ancestrale d'esprit palladien était un rêve enfin réalisé après ma retraite de la fonction publique à Québec. Depuis 20 ans, je n'ai cessé de l'améliorer grâce en partie à son atelier de menuiserie au sous-sol. L'environnement est des plus charmants avec un parc en face de la maison avec vue partielle sur le fleuve et au voisinage de l'église classée au patrimoine.
À l'arrière, le terrain est borné par la terre agricole dont le propriétaire habite le deuxième rang, décor champêtre donc. Maison construite pièce sur pièce avec une abondante fenestration qui la rend très lumineuse. Bien que tout près de la route 132, l'endroit est très calme et le bruit de la circulation très faible en soirée et la nuit.
À l'intérieur, espace et bonheur de vivre. C'est à regret que je dois quitter ce village charmant et la maison qui m'habitait. À qui la chance de vivre dans cette grande maison confortable et dans un environnement plein de beauté, Le terrain dispose d'arbres et de plates-bandes de fleurs ainsi que de deux haies assurant un caractère privé à la propriété.
