Owners’ comments
Superbe home on the shore of Lake Bowker, the only one in Eastern Township with crystal clear water.
This home is located on the magnificent Lake Bowker and the double lot offers 220' of frontage and a total of 120,000 sf. No neighbor in the front and in the rear with mature trees makes this place a very quiet environment.
Many structure is present like a triple garage with a heating floor and a 20'x30' carport with 12' clearance permitting motorhome, big boat, and trailer storage. A covered 16'x20' patio offers a magnificent panoramic view of the lake.
Construction sits on bedrock for maximum strength and 12" reinforced concrete and double-thickness structural walls for a high insulation rating. A thermal mass is located under the 1st floor for climate control in the summer. Floor heating everywhere including the basement and the garage except for the bedrooms.
The roof is made of architectural grade slate from New England and composed of different colors for maximum look. This roof will last for centuries.
The Timberframe structure was raised from local white pine harvested and dried before being cut using the Japanese technique for joinery.
Furniture and appliances included. All accessories in the house/garage, home theater, and personal items are excluded.
