VISITS - As of August 2022, we have received over 1,500 calls and emails for the chalet since it was posted! Of course, there is only one cabin for sale, and it is not possible to meet all this demand. Many buyers understand the opportunity of being able to visit and make an offer, not being hampered by any uncertainty or other issues that may cause them to hesitate in this process.

We may consider undertaking the visits and receiving offers from particularly serious buyers who are aware of the conditions and issues under which the chalet may have to be sold, in the event that the buyer wishes to rush the transaction.

SEPTIC SYSTEM - Work is ongoing to replace the septic system.

About the Chalet

The cottage will be sold fully furnished, with its 4 bedrooms (4 double beds), its antique wood stove (functional), a vintage piano, a slow combustion stove, and all its refined rustic decoration.

The cottage can accommodate large families (8+ people), and space and extra mattresses can accommodate more occupants during large gatherings.

The cottage also offers a large veranda at the back, and two outdoor terraces, one of which is exclusive to one of the upstairs bedrooms.

The dining room is of good size and can seat up to 12 people.

The bathroom comes equipped with a whirlpool bath and a shower cabin. It also hides a washer and dryer in space for washing. There is also a water closet near the upstairs bedrooms.

The partially wooded backyard offers a fireplace & pit for campfires and marshmallow snacks.

Activities and Outdoors!

The cottage is located near Mont Avalanche, a preferred ski resort in the Laurentians, whose elevation exceeds that of St-Sauveur. Some slopes offer a interesting and athletic steepness which contributes to the well-established reputation of its school, where several young alpine ski athletes started their journey. The station is well suited to families.

A wide variety of cross-country ski trails are also accessible in the surroundings, some of which are several tens of km long and join the cross-country ski network of the surrounding municipalities.

The nearby Lake St-Joseph will please the occupants during the summer season. Mountain biking trails are also accessible at Mont Avalanche and the surrounding area.
