Our house was completely redone from 2016 to 2020, we simply kept the framework and created a nest in harmony with the river. Modifications to the structure have made it possible to obtain a 16-foot ceiling with open space.
All ceramic floors are heated and part of the house is radiant heating. The Osburn fireplace gives warmth and pleasure to look at.
The 4 large patio doors allow you to see the river from all angles. The boats are seen at the beginning of the island bypassing it, quite impressive.

List of renovations from 2016 to 2020:
2020: Renovated carport, the addition of a 3-season veranda, redone the exterior of the garden level to accommodate kayaks or others, redone the tiles around the swimming pool which serves as a place for fires and walks cement exterior (backyard), redo the front entrance inlined slab (cement), change of soffit and gutters around the house, have the interior of the carport and the entrance paved. Installation of a new shower in the garden level toilet.
2019: New roof, composite patio with structure, finishing of the basement.
2018: Finishing of the fireplace mantel, redoing the facade of the house.
2017: Redo all wooden floors, installed ceramic heating, installed quality vinyl in the basement, complete house painting, new divisions for rooms, walk-in, wall of barn planks in the master bedroom.
2016: Demolition of the entire interior of the house, plumbing, electricity, structure, superior insulation, doors, and windows, installation of Osburn fireplace, air exchanger, central air conditioning.
The gutters and fascia are ordered for early August and will be made by a professional firm 2020
There remains the wooden fence to be made, which is of an unusual height which provides a nice intimacy.
