Charming two-story house, a stone's throw from the Richelieu River, the locks park, and the beautiful promenade/cycle path leading to Chamblis. This house is located at the gates of old Saint-Jean with its many restaurants, terraces, and bistros. A large sunny backyard has a lawn, a paved terrace as well as flower beds with perennial flowers, hostas, strawberries, raspberries, and even grapevines. With its sunshine, there is the possibility of making a vegetable garden.

On the main floor, there is a welcoming living room, a large bathroom, and a well-lit kitchen with a patio door opening onto a shaded balcony.

Upstairs we find the master bedroom with its three wardrobes and bathroom. An adjoining room with a balcony can serve as an office, studio, or nursery.

The basement has a large, well-lit bedroom that can also serve as a family room with four windows. There is a bathroom with a shower and office space. The workshop is the width of the house with a cement floor and its own wall outlet for the central vacuum.

The house was completely renovated in 2015 including a new concrete foundation, new electrical and plumbing service as well as a new roof. There is parking for three vehicles.

The house is connected to high-speed fiberoptic internet. You would have the choice of three distinct spaces for teleworking. The trip to downtown Montreal via the new Champlain Bridge is 30 minutes outside of rush hour.
