Perfect for someone that want to own it's own housing!
Duplex very well located on the edge of the Plateau Mt-Royal and walking distance from the Angus Shop. One minute from the Rachel Street bike path to the north and 1 minute to the south, from the Sherbrooke Street bus circuit. The metro stations Frontenac or Préfontaine are also 10 minutes walk.
The bedrooms are located one in front and the other at the back of each of the accommodation for more privacy and tranquility.
The building's structure was reinforced and stabilized by the Bisson Expert company by installing foundation piles on the façade, on the south-facing side and on the brick-lined part of the north side wall. A steel beam also supported by piles was also added to the centre of the original building.
The lay out was reworked and modified during major works carried out in 2004. The kitchens and bathrooms of both units were redone at the same time as well as the windows that have been completely replaced.
During these major renovations, all plumbing and electrical installations including the wiring were redone.
Since then, the brick cladding has been redone about 10 years ago on the façade wall and the north side wall.
The roof was completely replaced by a polymer membrane 7 years ago.
The two front doors were also replaced 4 years ago and the ceramic floor of the bathroom on the ground floor was made again in 2023.
