.Access by Thomas North (dirt road maintained by the Municipality) can be easily done by Thomas South (asphalt and maintained by the MTQ). The dirt road passes to the west of the land, while a stream and fields border it to the east. Thomas Sud is a few hundred meters away and therefore easy to access, summer and winter. Ideal for retirees or nature lovers.
Within walking distance, you will find the Papineau-La Belle Wildlife Reserve, an ATV and snowmobile trail, a campsite with a convenience store. The Royal Papineau-Labelle golf course with its restaurant and Lake Argile are about 2 km away. A well-equipped local grocery store is open all year round. The town hall, an elementary school, some twenty businesses, as well as a BMR, a library service (Biblio Québec) and a playground for young children are among the offers on site. Zoning allows many possibilities in addition to residential and home activities (see with the Municipality). Numerous activities for young and old are organized by volunteers and the Municipality

L'Accès par Thomas nord (chemin de terre entretenu par la Municipalité) peut se faire aisément par Thomas sud (asphalté et entretenu par le MTQ). Le chemin de terre passe à l'ouest du terrain, alors qu'un ruisseau et des champs le bordent à l'est. Thomas Sud est à quelques centaines de mètres et donc facile d'accès, été comme hiver. Idéal pour la retraite ou des amateurs de la nature.
À distance de marche, vous trouverez la Réserve Faunique de Papineau-La Belle, une piste de VTT et de motoneige, un camping avec un dépanneur. Le golf Royal Papineau-Labelle avec son restaurant et le lac d'Argile se trouvent à environ 2 km. Une épicerie locale, très bien pourvue, est ouverte à l'année. La mairie, une école primaire, quelque vingt commerces, ainsi qu'un BMR, un service de bibliothèque (Biblio Québec) et un parc de jeux pour jeunes enfants font partie des offres sur place. Le zonage permet de nombreuses possibilités en plus du résidentiel et d'activités à domicile (voir avec la Municipalité). De nombreuses acivités pour jeunes et moisn jeunes sont organisées par de bénévoles et la Municipalité.
Il y a assez de grands espaces dépourvu d'arberes ne requérant donc aucun défrichage; le sol est d'argile et ne comprend que quelques roches affleurantes. Pas de risques d'inondation.
