Owners’ comments
Splendid Victorian-style house on a quiet and highly coveted crescent in the Lakeview area, just a few kilometers from Champlain Bridge. The facade, facing south, offers a beautiful natural light. It is located close to primary schools and secondary schools, while being situated at walking distance from the public transport.
It has a natural gas fireplace that provides comforting warmth that may also be activated during a power outage. This fireplace, alone, has the capacity to adequately heat most of the house. Very practical in this era where power outages in the middle of the winter season are likely to multiply.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and separate shower. A bathroom is located on the ground floor.
A family room and an additional bedroom are located in the basement. A room adjacent to this bedroom was planned, during the construction of the house, to be converted into a bathroom (all the necessary plumbing for a complete bathroom is, in particular, integrated under the concrete slab). Three ConvectAir heaters, for additional heating, are also installed in the basement.
As you will see, the style and architectural plans of the house, designed by an artist, with an open concept on the ground floor, provide a zen environment and a feeling of space.
A separate garage, measuring 24 feet by 14 feet, gives you the additional space you need for your vehicle, your gardening tools and any other equipment necessary for the maintenance of this beautiful property.
It is to be noted that the shingles on the roof of the house were replaced in 2016-2017 and those on the roof of the gallery were replaced, in the same year, by a metal roof.
In closing, let's just conclude by emphasizing the undeniable usefulness of a very long garage alley allowing you multiple configurations regarding parking.
