Beautiful furnished 3 seasons cottage, on a magnificent lot which is directly on the edge of Lac Trottier. Located a few minutes from the village of Saint-Thomas-Didyme in Lac St-Jean, 15 minutes from Normandin and all services.
The cottage was 95% rebuilt and enlarged in 1993, from an existing cottage, including new electricity and plumbing. Insulated walls, electric heating, shingled roof, and vinyl siding, terrace on two sides of the building, crawl space (concrete foundation).
Inside, the open area includes the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen. The wall finish in this room is natural pine wainscoting, a cathedral ceiling, a patio door, and beautiful windows to enjoy the spectacular views of the lake. The cottage has two bedrooms, the bathroom has a shower.
The lot is over 28,000 sq. ft. and has two vehicle entrances. The area of the property that borders the lake to the cottage is grassy, the rest is wooded. Blueberries can be picked up directly on the property. A mineral terrace facing the lake is the ideal place for gatherings in front of the fireplace.
The property also includes a shed at the back of the cottage and a workshop shed near the lake. The shed is large enough to accommodate an ATV or little boat.
The lake is quiet, and navigable only with very small motorboats, pedal boats, and canoes. It is possible to install a dock. The Lac Trottier Owners Association takes care of stocking trout every year, to the great pleasure of fishermen.
