Owners’ comments
Country house with large open spaces, including a detached loft, very comfortable, with wood stove, Jacuzzi integrated patio and overlooking the stream running through the land. The 2.5 acre lot is heavily wooded and private, sloping along the stream and fenced on the section along Route 139. The main house has 3 bedrooms and an office space, a huge living room with wood stove and windows, and a dining room overlooking a side balcony overlooking the stream and morning sun for breakfast.
The 7-foot basement is accessible from the outside and inside and could make a very nice workshop for handyman or creative.
It is a house that gives the impression of living in nature, with flowers, trees and water, while being close to the various services, the ski slopes of Sutton, SPA Balnéa and Bolton, as well as the other tourist attractions in the area.
The house has an artesian well dug in 1983, 179 feet depth, a salt water softener system and reverse osmosis water treatment. The septic facility includes a 750-gallon concrete tank, emptied every two years by the municipality, with leaching field (1996), in accordance with municipal standards.
The loft was built in 2009. The kitchen of the main house and the bathroom were completely renovated in 2012 and 2014. The insulation of the roof was completely renewed in 2017. The balconies were made in 2012 and 2014. Several doors and windows are recent.
