Healthy house, intimate land, superb location!
Would you like to accompany your children on foot on the first day of the school year? Receive them at home at noon? This is possible if you wish. I have to give up my comfortable house because I need a huge workshop. The house has become too small for my professional needs.
Since our arrival in 2011, a lot of work has been done (see list). The bedrooms are large and have lighted wardrobes. The upstairs bathroom has double sinks, a glass shower and a tub.
A skylight gives charm to the kitchen. The rear balcony is accessed directly from the veranda which is adjacent to the dining room. The pool is safe (fenced).
From the balcony, you overlook the backyard, the garden and the arbor of vines, which provides you with shade and privacy in hot weather. There is also a shed and an area of the land could be for your future garden ...
You can think long term by settling in this Portland Street home. Being close to all services is a great advantage. Pharmacy, gas stations, grocery stores and parks are within walking distance. Access to schools is exceptional: Sherbrooke elementary, Brébeuf primary school (250 m), Montcalm high school (400 m), CÉGEP de Sherbrooke by direct bus (bus # 4 or 17) in Portland, Université de Sherbrooke by direct bus (bus # 16) on Jacques-Cartier. Note that the house is very well soundproofed. U-shaped parking makes it easier for you to enter and exit the front yard. You have parking for more than 4 cars or why not a trailer on the side of the house! Being near the boulevard is nice to quickly get to all corners of Sherbrooke or to get out of the city.
