-Frontenac National Park covers 2/3 of the shores, with 3 km of deserted beaches reserved for residents only;
-Natural lake dating back to the last glaciation (Wisconsinian);
-No municipality (sewage overflow) or large-scale agricultural operations in the lake's watershed, nor mining residues;
-No public access to the lake, second-row accesses blocked to prevent strangers on the lake;
-Mountains surrounding the lake are populated by yellow birch forests;
Lush and often rare flora and fauna: little bitterns, bald eagles, golden eagles, Cooper's hawks, osprey, wood ducks, common loons, double-crested cormorants, great blue herons, American bitterns, etc., to give an idea.
- Fish of substantial size: native walleye reintroduced to the lake through seeding, frequent 48-inch pike, 30-inch smallmouth bass, and the monster of Lake Thor: the yellow sturgeon, very, very rare and very, very large!
We are selling this haven of peace by Lake Thor, after more than 30 years of happiness and discoveries, with one goal in mind: to get closer to work and experience new exciting adventures!
