Hostel very well located in the heart of the village.

Known and recognized, with an active Facebook page of more than 13,000 fans!

Located in a region that is experiencing the best growth in Quebec, close to the famous St-Gabriel Beach and its sports centre. A snowmobile and quad trail passes through our parking lot.

L'Auberge Le ST-GAB:
Built in 1870 according to a history book, the municipality says 1890, probably that it did not keep tax records before that! At the time its name was the HOTEL CENTRAL as in several ancient villages in Quebec, moreover, the stained glass window was kept with the name handmade at the time with green and lead. Legend says that even the priest Labelle took a room when he came to St-Gabriel.
Always known for its festive atmosphere, the place undergoes major works about 100 years after its construction, to become the Auberge le ST-GAB.

Following the works the hostel has retained a rural character, the woodwork of eras have been pickled and reused during the renovation, one can still see the beauty of copper on the ramps and photos of eras are strategically placed in the hostel as well as shelves to be able to put the snowmobile helmets adding a huge Sunny terrace all day helps to keep its festive atmosphere.

There is still the possibility of adding rooms in a period stamp.

Today the hostel is for sale and the owner would love that future owners continue to promote the hostel and the beautiful area of Lanaudière by giving the clientele the sting for our beautiful corner of country.

Note: At the commercial level, it is very difficult to finance from a financial institution, you will need to have as much equity and know that interest rates are higher than for residential.

Please, have started your financing process before coming to visit.

NOTE: income is only the rooms, because the Resto-Pub is closed my very in demand easy to restart with the Facebook page and notice to the group motorcycle, snowmobile, and quad and sports center.

The steps involved in buying a property

Could this property be “the one”? Here’s an overview of the steps involved in becoming the owner. These steps and the legal implications remain the same whether the property is purchased from an individual or through a broker.

One of the first things to do when looking for a property is to get a mortgage preapproval from a financial institution. The goal is to determine borrowing capacity, and as a result, the price range to be looking in.

Offer to purchase

The property suits the budget and needs? Time to submit an offer to purchase! This document sets out the price, the elements included in the sale, the possession date, the conditions of purchase and all other information relevant to the sale.

Conditions of purchase

The offer to purchase generally includes conditions. The most common are the property passing an inspection, the buyer providing proof of financing and the buyer selling their own property. Once the listed conditions are met, the property is considered sold.

Property transfer

The last step is to see a notary, who is generally chosen by the buyer. This real estate professional drafts the deed of sale and ensures that the interests of all parties involved are respected.

Once the deed of sale is notarized, the new owner gets the keys to the home. All that’s left is to move in!
