Owners’ comments
Chalet style house located in a quiet area (dead end street) with a superb view of Lake Daniel.
Aged pine cathedral roof with windows up to it to allow the view of the surrounding mountains. A large field stone fireplace separates the living room from the dining room. This one has been converted into a combustion fireplace while retaining its magnificent appearance. A veranda on the west side allows you to enjoy the end of the day sun sheltered from mosquitoes.
Less than 10 minutes from the St-Jean-de-Matha golf course, the place is perfect for those who want to enjoy the outdoors and who like to tinker. A wood dryer (3m x 3.70m + lean-to) was recently built for sculpture enthusiasts. It can also be used for outdoor equipments storage. A shed (4.34m x 4.95m + lean-to) for storing daily tools, firewood and recycling bins is close to the house. The garage (8.33mx 9.87m) is heated and has a small insulated workshop. It is even possible to carry out large-scale mechanical work considering that it has a pit provided for this purpose.
The land is semi-wooded and very well maintained. No visible neighbor from the house.
