Owners’ comments
An exceptional view of the Mont-Tremblant peaks, the ski slopes and Lake Superior, especially during the fall colors.
Located 10 minutes from the north side of Tremblant and 20 minutes from Mont-Tremblant Park, Lake Monroe sector.
The entire 1st floor is open concept and is built with British Columbia cedar, including the new addition. Cedar on the outside was covered with dye, the interior of shellac, except for the room which has had its natural patina aged over 45 years.
2 stone hearths fireplaces (one on each floor); the hearth of the fireplace on the 1st floor with a hearth of 40 x 24 x 26 in. and has a beautiful chenet.
A mosaic, 6 feet by 6 feet, handmade in Tunisia, a copy of the mosaic located at the Bardo museum of Tunis depicting a scene from Greek mythology, Andromeda deliverance by Perseus.
A SPA for 6 people, located 5 feet from French doors of my south balcony, placed at an easy height to get protected with a wall of privacy (a quality cover was replaced in 2017).
The 4 windows on the ground floor were replaced in 2013 by triple glazed windows.
The entire ground floor was renovated in 2001 in notty pine and soundproofed (wall and ceiling) with a soundproof wool of 2 inches; the floors have been redone in laminated maple.
The ground floor bathroom, renovated in 2003, has a steam bath and therapeutic jets in addition to its normal functions.
The septic tank and the artesian well are from 2004; the roof was redone in 2012 with a membrane that covers it entirely.
Behind the cottage, several sports fields were developped: petanque, horseshoes, of theterball, a combined court, lined, of badminton, deck tennis and a volleyball, and a basketball court.
The cottage has a rights-of-way at the water's edge, with a sandy beach, a common dock, a common raft, and two boat supports (closest to the beach); one houses a fiberglass canoe and the other one houses a sailboard, also used as a paddle board
A second right of way is at the back of the cottage.
