Wooden house located on the riverside with access to a beautiful wild sandy beach for several kilometers
This three floors wooden house completely renovated while keeping its style has the old school of the village. It is an open-concept house with mezzanine located on a large sandy point that goes towards the St. Lawrence River. View of the River, boats and marine birds and mammals. Access to the deserted beaches of Manicouagan which stretch over 15 km with the possibility of swimming in the summer time. 25 minutes from Baie-Comeau by car. The wooden house is very comfortable facing South with windows that warm the house naturally with the sun and reduce heating costs. It has a Jotul convection wood stove that allows you to heat the house more than efficiently in addition to making a central fireplace as well as a luxurious shower and self-wear bath. Several elements of the old school were kept and keep the style of its past vocation. There is a beautiful fenced vegetable garden, permaculture type at the back of the house, filled with fruit shrubs as well as a small greenhouse. Ideal for people who love the outdoors and tranquility, nature is beautiful. It is located very close 1km to Pointe-aux-Outardes Nature Park with one of the largest salt marshes in Quebec (www.parcnature.ca). Several activities are offered, such as a bird garden, a butterfly aviary, an interpretive guide for discovering the Innu Aboriginal culture, a boat trip in the marsh, etc. At the back is a large field with access to the forest by a walking and cross-country skiing trail and skidoo.
