100 FEET ON THE WATERFRONT - BROMPTON LAKE, Eastern Townships, Quebec
Waterfront, four-season cottage entirely renovated (2012-2013), with a small beach.
Located on a dead-end road (asphalted in 2012), with limited traffic. Land across the roadway to be included in Orford Park, i.e. tranquility and nature conservation.
In summertime, you can enjoy the full range of swimming and water sports. During fall, you can take advantage of the Sentiers de l'Estrie nearby for hiking. Winter will let you discover the fun of cross country skiing, snowshoe walking, ice fishing, or lighting a big fire in the cottage fireplace! With spring coming, the ice on the lake disappears and green nature takes over again.
I purchased the cottage in December 2011 to perform an extreme makeover project in 2012 as part of my semi-retirement plans. While being inspired by various architectural works, I tried to turned this cottage in a contemporary and unique housing unit using high quality materials.
All invoices of contractors involved in the renovation project are available if need be (approximate total of 250K$).
