Rare Connecticut Valley Loggia home in a very quiet neighbourhood just steps from the shore of the Tomifobia on the US border. Near Highway 55, one hour and 20 minutes from Montreal, and 3 minutes walk from the Haskell Library. Beautiful garden and magnificent trees, authentic and charming home located 5 minutes from the village center in the countryside of the Townships, perfect for hiking, biking and relaxing. Really unique for those who want to escape from the big city and feel in nature without being isolated in the open countryside.

Entirely built in 1850 in wood with several rooms having original wooden floors. The house is heated with radiators that I find very comfortable, with a central oil furnace. There is a garage that can house a car at the back of the house, as well as a greenhouse. lots of land, and the streets and sewers were newly redone last year - good for 30 years. And for those who love the new, everything has to be redone. My price is firm, no negotiation. Legal offers only will be considered. Without conditions, sold in the state, without guarantee. Land is 1300.8 square meters (this number I got from the certificate of localization so it is accurate), house is 157 square meters (1695 sq feet) for one floor , and 213 sq meters (2300 square feet ) for the 2 floors, excluding basement. Two exterior galleries redone last fall. House exterior freshly painted also.

Many small problems: sometimes moisture in the basement, heating to re-install on the second floor, part of roof to be redone in 5 years, one sewer pipe needs to be eventually repaired (used to be leakage a couple of years ago but no more), otherwise everything is fine. No asbestos, no oil leak, the roof is waterproof. I will not hide anything from you. It is a very beautiful house to renovate. A good project that can be profitable!

Conditions of purchase
