Owners’ comments
Solid all-season split-level facing beautiful "Lac des Écorces" on a dead-end street, with over 330 feet of waterfront and three accesses to the lake. The property is only five minutes from the center of Mont-Laurier and all its services and yet surrounded by nature.
The house has three levels and a basement. It has a large open-concept living area facing west with a big deck looking out on the lake and great sunsets. There are many windows in the kitchen, dining room, and a double patio door in the den. The kitchen has a granite counter top and a double "Blanco" granite sink, lots of storage for food and kitchenware. The fireplace in the den is a "Napoleon" insert for slow combustion and efficiency.
Up one level is a large living room with antique double doors and fireplace (closed). This level has the main front door and secondary side entrance to a mud room and shop with a lot of storage.
The upstairs has three bedrooms, the master bedroom access to the main bathroom and a balcony with a double patio door. All windows face the lake and all closets are cedar-lined. There is an elevated storage area with cabinets, reachable from the third floor. The basement level was once a fourth bedroom and is now the exercise and storage room.
There is an asphalt parking area for at least five cars plus a double-place partially enclosed carport. The garage and storage shed are away from the house and used for storing toys like a boat, ATV, lawn tractor, and tools. Next to the garage there is a gravel descent to the lake that has been used as a boat ramp. This large lot is landscaped with many mature trees, flowers, and grass.
