Owners’ comments

House on the edge of The Grand Lac Rond in the municipality of Bouchette. Large private beach with very fine and clean sand that renews itself naturally every year. The place is ideal for safe swimming for children and sunbathing for adults. The 100 or so trees on the ground produce several pleasant shaded areas during heatwaves. The course has a large green space for holding lawn games and is adjacent to a small private golf course accessible with an agreement.

4-season cottage house with gallery and patio providing a magnificent view of the lake, 2,520 sq. ft. of living space, 3 bedrooms, a telework desk on the tick (high-speed Internet access), a large kitchen with island and plenty of storage space with modern cushioned door cabinets. In the basement, in addition to the bathroom, the two bedrooms and a relaxation lounge, there is a workshop for drawing, painting, or DIY as well as an outdoor exit door.

Central wood heating and electric baseboards. The foundation walls are insulated with Styrofoam 2 inches thick. The ceiling on the lower floor is insulated with 6-inch thick wool. Artesian well combined with lake water with two pumping systems protected from frost. Septic tank with sewage field emptied automatically every 2 years by the municipality.  

The place includes:

  • Two covered and ventilated warehouses for firewood;
  • A discount for accessories and tools;
  • A gas shed;   
  • A large parking lot that can place 5 cars;
  • Two double garages, one insulated and heated with wood, used as indoor parking and/or for mechanics or carpentry. This double garage is fluorescent-lit, fully wired electrical with 8-foot, 110- and 220v interior sockets, and an outdoor socket for generator connection. It has a large vanity sink, hot and cold water, cement floor with a central drain, double garage door (8 ft. and 10 ft., one of which is electric). There is another door directly to the 2nd double garage. The latter garage is uninsulated and has a large 10-foot sliding door. There is space to put on ATVs, lawn tractors and is ample (7 ft. 6 in.) to enter a 20-foot boat or trailer; 

Enchanting landscaping has been done throughout the grounds and includes arrangements of annual flowers, perennials and shrubs, embellished with multiple cedar decorations and sidings and a small raised vegetable garden (6 dyed cedar trays).
