Owners’ comments

Open space condo located on the ground floor of a recently converted prestigious building located 75 meters away from the water, with one parking spot, and the option of a second spot @ 20K.

This one bathroom and three (3) bedroom condo is ideal for a couple with one or two children.

For young couples or professionals, the condo is walking distance to a multitude of fun bars, nice patios, and trendy restaurants that define the new Verdun, who has been recognized internationally as a great place to live and play.

Over and above the 1,000 sq. ft. of living space, the condo offers a backyard terrace adjacent to the living room, and backyard parking.
Located a two-minute walk away from the Saint-Lawrence and its bike path, five minutes away from the kid's park and splash pad, and a five-minute bike ride away from the new Verdun Beach, the condo's location is exceptional: with the metro, and a multitude of services on Wellington Street less than 10 minutes away, you'll have the nest of both worlds.

The steps involved in buying a property

Could this property be “the one”? Here’s an overview of the steps involved in becoming the owner. These steps and the legal implications remain the same whether the property is purchased from an individual or through a broker.

One of the first things to do when looking for a property is to get a mortgage preapproval from a financial institution. The goal is to determine borrowing capacity, and as a result, the price range to be looking in.

Offer to purchase

The property suits the budget and needs? Time to submit an offer to purchase! This document sets out the price, the elements included in the sale, the possession date, the conditions of purchase and all other information relevant to the sale.

Conditions of purchase

The offer to purchase generally includes conditions. The most common are the property passing an inspection, the buyer providing proof of financing and the buyer selling their own property. Once the listed conditions are met, the property is considered sold.

Property transfer

The last step is to see a notary, who is generally chosen by the buyer. This real estate professional drafts the deed of sale and ensures that the interests of all parties involved are respected.

Once the deed of sale is notarized, the new owner gets the keys to the home. All that’s left is to move in!
